Telecommunication demonstrator

The aim of the TELECOM demonstrator is to validate that Telecom software components can be developed using the SIRENA framework.
The demonstrator will be based on a platform usually used to validate software components dealing with Core Network and Access Network.
The ideal demonstrator should include common and telecommunication-specific services in the following domains :
- Network Management (common services) – for instance :
* Learning about Core Network & Access Network equipment
* Management of Core Network & Access Network equipment (fault management, observation,…)
- System Terminal Management (specific services) – for instance :
* List of terminals located under a cell
* Location of a terminal in the Network
- Data transmission (specific services) – for instance :
* Data transmission to a terminal (use of protocol stacks)
The ideal demonstrator should be able to integrate current stack as well as new ones. And of course, it should be able to reuse current applications and stack with no change.
The software will be developed using C or SDL languages. Most of the software will be produced inside SIRENA project but some parts may be reused as for application demo or low level drivers.
